APPARATUS PUMP TESTING

Pump Testing is a critical component of Annual Equipment Testing. NFPA 1911 outlines Pump Testing Procedures. Proper Testing and Documentation is required for Fire Rating Credit.   

Fireserve utilizes a Draft Commander to perform pump testing. The Draft Commander is filled with clean water, so the pump is not damaged from sediment and other items found in drafting locations. Generally, two trucks can be tested at a time, one on each side of the truck. Fireserve also has the ability to pump high pressure pumps utilizing the Draft Commander.
